"Concerning Frederick Douglass: A Very, Very Brief Overview Of An Amazing Person" is a (relatively) short, illustrated primer about the famous American writer and orator Frederick Douglass, who was born into slavery, escaped, and made it his life's work to see slavery abolished and equality gained. I call this an "illustrated zine" because the measure of text and illustrations is about equal. There are 12 pages of illustrations and history, and an afterward that includes a list of recommended further reading if you're interested in more info about Frederick Douglass' life.

This illustrated zine was first published in physical and digital form in fall 2022. The illustrations in the zine were initially drawn for the "Votes For Women: The Battle For The 19th Amendment" comics anthology published by Little Red Bird press in August, 2020. The Votes For Women anthology can be purchased in the Little Red Bird shop.
